The Cedar Street Strings is a standard string
quartet consisting of two violins, a viola and a
cello. All four members are graduates of the
University of Denver’s prestigious Lamont School
of Music. The group plays together at weddings,
parties, corporate events, and many other events
throughout the greater Denver area, Front Range
and the Rocky Mountains. In the last few years the
quartet has played for Denver’s Home and
Garden Show, a luncheon for a Laura Bush
speaking event, the renaming of the University of
Denver’s Korbel School of International Studies
hosting Madeleine Albright, as well as multiple
events during the Democratic National
Convention in 2008.
In addition to playing together as a group the
members of the Cedar Street Strings also actively
perform throughout the community. They have
also worked with recording artists in the recording
studio and appeared in a music video.
